This product requires a bootable floppy disk in order to load our software. We’ve packaged the software into a compressed executable file that will format a floppy, make it bootable, and copy the necessary software all in one step. Because the download is meant to format a disk, Internet Explorer or Windows may give a warning regarding an unsafe download, in which case please disregard.
Downloading and installing legacy software onto a 3.5” floppy disk:
Note – For the MX2 system disk, you must use tape up the square hole that is located in the corner of the floppy before proceeding. The MX2 used double density floppy drives (720k), and the high density floppy will not work on this drive unless using this trick.

Click on the link below and select the option to save it to your computer.

Double click on the file that you’ve just downloaded.

You should be prompted to insert a floppy disk into your drive, press the OK button. This will cause the software to automatically copy the correct files to the floppy disk you put into Drive A.

When the process is completed, your new ProtoTRAK system disk will be ready for use.
