In this tutorial of the ProtoTRAK SMX Basic Programming Series, TRAKing Pat programs and cuts two variations of a straight slot. First, he creates a straight slot with just a milling event using a 3/8 end mill. Then, he widens the slot to 1/2 inch by using a profile with the same 3/8 end mill. The machine we used for this demonstration is the TRAK DPM SX5P Bed Mill.
