In the second part of our 2op Informational Series, Pat talks about a few general situations in which the TRAK 2op Vertical Machining Center would benefit your shop. For example, the size of the 2op allows it to be easily movable, only requiring a pallet jack to transport around the shop. It's smaller stature gives it the ability to be positioned wherever the work is required. One of the biggest advantages is the opportunity to complete second operations while the main machine is busy with it's primary task. This reduces cycle times and increases output with no additional cost in labor.
